Go to the Google Cloud website
Navigate to cloud.google.com

Open your web browser and visit cloud.google.com. You'll land on the Google Cloud homepage. Look for the "Get started for free" button in the top-right navigation or the hero section of the page.

๐Ÿ’ก
Tip: You can use an existing Google/Gmail account or create a new one. It's a good idea to create a separate Google account dedicated to development if you'll be building projects.

Note: Make sure your name and address match exactly as they appear on your bank/card records to avoid verification issues.
5
Add a payment method
Credit card, debit card, or net banking โ€” for identity verification only

This is Step 2 of 2. Google requires a payment method purely for identity verification. You will not be charged during the free trial. Supported methods include credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay) and net banking.

โœ…
Important: You won't be billed unless you manually upgrade to a paid account. The trial ends automatically when credits run out or 90 days pass.

MM / YY
CVV / CVC
Name on card
I have read and agree to the automatic payments terms
  • Enter your card number (debit or credit card)
  • Fill in the expiry date (MM/YY) and CVV
  • Enter the name on the card exactly as printed
  • Make sure automatic payments are enabled on your card (some banks block it โ€” contact your bank if needed)
  • Click "Start my free trial"
6
Verify your card
OTP or small test charge (refunded)

After submitting your card details, your bank may send an OTP (one-time password) for verification. Enter it when prompted. In some cases, Google may place a small temporary authorization hold (usually โ‚น2โ€“โ‚น5) that is immediately reversed.

๐Ÿ“ฑ
OTP: Keep your registered mobile phone handy. Your bank will send a verification code via SMS. Enter it in the verification popup when it appears.
  • Wait for the OTP SMS from your bank on your registered mobile number
  • Enter the OTP in the verification box and confirm
  • Google will show a "You're all set!" confirmation screen
  • You'll then be redirected to the Google Cloud Console
